An Ode to the Power of Gentleness
As I journey through life, I learn from my experiences and in this way, I have my own self realisation as do all of us. One of the things that I have begun to truly embrace is my realisation on what is Power. I have discovered the law of paradox in the process and it is truly amazing how a lot of truths in this world are paradoxical in nature.
One of these truths is with regards to what is true power? And I have come to realised that true power is Gentleness. Yes… much like what Ghandi himself have said, only the strong can forgive. The weak can only hate.
So it is with Gentleness. Only the truly powerful can be gentle. Perhaps another day I will share more on how I have reached this conclusion. But for now, I have trolled the web and found a lot of beautiful quotes on Gentleness which I would love to share with everyone:
Nothing is so strong as gentleness, and nothing is so gentle as true strength. Ralph Sockman
Strong men can always afford to be gentle. Only the weak are intent on giving as good as they get. Elbert Hubbard
There is nothing so strong as gentleness, and nothing so gentle as strength. Leo Muir
The Greatest Strength is Gentleness. Iroquois Saying
Only the weak are cruel. Gentleness can only be expected from the strong. Leo Buscaglia
Nothing is so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength. Saint Francis De Sales
Gentleness is antidote for cruelty. Pjaedrus
